Continuous and Cost-Effective Solutions Deliverer

I provided consultancy, training, and policy advice on the effective removal of disabling barriers to more than 100 managers in the Manchester City Council Housing Department. This work was initially commissioned by Lorraine Gradwell, Former Chief Executive of Breakthrough UK, Manchester.

Following the successful completion of this project, I was approached by a senior member of the Housing Department management team to see if I would deliver additional disability awareness training sessions for them now Breakthrough's original contract with them had ended. I agreed, and I went on to run group-based disability awareness sessions through my consulting business, Stross-Hypatia, for directors and senior management team members who had not previously attended one of my sessions.
